Out of Retirment
Is it possible to bring a player out of retirement?

No, sorry. We handle retirement a little differently than OOTP does, so we can't use their method to bring players back; it's been on the wish-list for a while, but we'll likely need to add a method of storing retired player data for a while after the retirement (and it'll probably be limited to only a small group of the best players for a relatively short period, maybe a year, after they quit.)

Do players only retire at the end of their contracts?
Jagr signed a 2 year deal and is playing into the 2nd year at like 47.

It's more likely that they'll decide to keep playing if they have additional years left on their contract, but there's still a chance they may retire.

Some retired players do get added as coaches/staff.
