Development Budget
I've been wondering this for a few years, does anyone see a difference in player development when they increase their spending beyond the league baseline? If so, is this development happening exclusively at the minor league level or major league?
I mostly use that figure when I can foresee a significant surplus in my budget and fear that the owner will then scale back the budget the following year because I didn't spend all that was allotted to me (which is actually pretty realistic if you think about it). |

I don't think it plays a huge role in the game. Does it help? yes but it isn't like spending 5 million extra is going to make you churn out Kris Bryant's and Clayton Kershaw's at every level.

If I'm playing with a small market team I usually leave it at default, but if I've got big money I'll crank it up a bit.
