active roster error

I am trying to sim a fictional league in which I do not control any teams. The game will not move forward due to an error message which states "Corpus Christi has an illegal number of players on the active roster (5)" I looked at the league settings and there is no limit for the active roster for the minor leagues and the roster has 25 players on it. 10 pitchers and 25 batters.... how do I fix this?

If I had to guess, there's another Corpus Christi team somewhere in the game that has only 5 players. Trying searching for Corpus Christi - if there's just that one I'm sure others will have more ideas on what might be causing this. In most cases, people seem to find a reason why this message appears.

Same error ("illegal number of players on active roster")

I too am getting the "(your AAA team) has an illegal number of players on the active roster", with the number of players on the roster in parens.

This game is in its second season, the date is June 28. I'd just completed a trade, moved a player from secondary roster to ML roster. Then i try to autoplay (a day, a week, doesn't matter), and it kicks out with that error.

Any help? TIA.

What you've done, if I read it correctly, you moved a player from your minor league club to your major league active roster without replacing the departed player on the AAA club. That would leave it short a player in its active roster.
