Nope, should work instantaneously. I have .csv's from a multi-league format and that file fixed the issue you had. Sure you downloaded it into the right place (cgi-bin/OOTPOU directory)?

Getch, I just wanted to say thanks for helping us fix HH's utilities. I'm a big fan of your work; it makes OOTP a lot more enjoyable.

Getch, any chance that you could make a quick change to the Development utility?

The GUBA recently switched to 1-5 talent, 1-10 actual ratings. As of now there is no option for 1-5 talents in the utility config.

Thank you sir!

Getch,

My sim results and stats stopped working suddenly. I went into Admin and tried "Generate Reports". I got this:

Error Occurred!
Illegal division by zero at OOTPOU/Utils.pm line 312, line 2338.

Help?

I'll let Getch answer this...but from personal experience, I have the same problem, but it only occurs during the off-season/spring training. and that only refers to the playoff odds. it still does all the last sim result stuff.

I'm in the new season now and still no Sim Results or stats. It stopped working in the second half of the last regular season.

I don't have a test league in the offseason, but try this new version of Utils.pm. It should go into the OOTPOU folder. Also, you will get an error if you leave the number of season to simulate blank or less than 1.

My army is mobilizing .

Yeah, what he said. I made a fix in Utils.pm but guess it never made it to the public.

Next issue (and thanks for all the support, fellas):

No matter what I do I can't get playoff odds to work. I put in fhomess's patch for this, still showing teams at 100%.

Help?

Can you send me copies of your league's relevant CSV files? I'll try to work on this some over the weekend.

Here is the current tarball of our CSV's (I sim tomorrow night, so these are current until then).

Keep in mind I'm using the Utils.pm that Getch supplied me with earlier in this thread that supports multiple owners in subleagues.

Thanks for your help!

Well, it seems to run fine for me. Can you send me a link to your output for Playoff Odds?

Here's a link to my output: Test Playoff Odds

All of our teams have played 14 games, yet on our Playoff Odds Report "Pyt.Rec" displays records with as few as 12 and as many as 16 games played. That's not normal, is it?

Also, was a fix ever discovered for the issue where Spring Training records are added into a team's season-to-date record on the Sim Results page?

I was just looking at the playoff odds report in our league, where we have a league with 2 sub-leagues. Each sub-league has 3 divisions, and we have a playoff format where each sub-league sends 3 division winners and 1 wild card winner to the playoffs. This report seems to give percentages for 2 wild cards per sub-league. You can view the report at Playoff Odds Report

I took at a look at your code, and at the point where you determine if there should be 1 or 2 wild card winners, you check if the number of divisions is even or odd, assigning 2 wild card winners if it's even, 1 if it's odd. Unfortunately, you seem to be taking the total number of divisions in the overall league (in our case 6) instead of the number of divisions in the sub-league (in our case 3).

I made a quick change to the code that fixed this problem in our league. Instead of counting all the divisions, it gets a count of the divisions in each sub-league, and uses that to determine the number of wild card teams. It'd be great if the changes could make it into the next release of this tool, and I can provide you with the diffs or the full file, if you like.

Send me an PM or email. I don't need to clutter this board up with code.

Nice tool, and hope I can help work out a few kinks.
