Is there a way to make it so more players elect free agency?

Basically, it seems in real life, far more players "elect free agency." Then in the game, especially in the minor leagues. Is there a way to increase the amount that happens in a realistic way?

Sure, but there could be unexpected consequences.

You can reduce the minimum number of years a team has rights before Free Agency.

You can limit number of years in a contract (I do this now as I hate 10+ year deals).

You can lower the 40 man roster to 34 - it causes more turnover and especially on the waiver wire.
