trading with a manager that has no money
Sometimes I get offered a trade deal but when I discuss it with the other manager it doesn't matter what I offer it says their available funds are not sufficient. It even says this when I try to offer just draft picks. I assume that they are over budget but there must be a way to conduct the trade as they initiated it.

you may need to eat some/all of the players salaries.
not all the offers made by the AI make sense to me, nor are good trades for your team.

So it sounds like If the salary of the player I am trading them is lower than the one they are trading me it is net positive to their cash but the mechanics still won't allow it.
The only option then would be to pay all of the salaries of the players you are trading them as well as paying the salaries of the players you've acquired? |

no, that should work out. if it's not a negative cash flow for them while running a loss, it should be fine.
you'll do better not relying on the game spoon-feeding trades, anyway. if this is a constant problem with trades, try more trades in offseason and before FA begins. lots more budget space across league at this time. |
