Players currently on the ice

My appreciation for the improvements in FHM4 continues to grow...

Comparisons with FHM3 are inevitable, though. In 3, there was a display during a game being played out that showed the players who were currently on the ice. That added to the interest value. But it looks like in 4, there is no way to see a display like that. Is that right?

Yeah, it's not there anymore. I think we need to do something like highlight the names on the team displays of the guys currently on the ice, that'd give you the information without having to wedge it back into the screen when there's less space for it now (due to the bottom bar.)

Actually correct me if I'm wrong Jeff, but if players are currently on the ice their names are bolded in the stats line.

Looks like it got lost in the font changes. I just changed it so the player on ice are capitalized now.

Or, how about this:

Currently there is a button to click that allows the viewer to switch between the stats displays for the two teams that are playing. How about adding a button that when clicked brings up an alternative display, in place of the player stats, which shows the players currently on the ice for BOTH teams, as in FHM3?

This would be more engaging I think. I'd also suggest the use of player facegens on such a display.

Yeah I kinda liked the FHM3 way of showing who was on the ice. It was easier to see than the capitalized letters thing. IMHO
