Edit: "Hoot" Gibson just fired a 2 hitter to put my Extreme in their PT 20 WS!

Which Gibson are you sending out to win? I was able to get a 97 Gibson for my Seattle Base Destroyers team.

Thanks to everyone who posted standings the last couple of weeks while I was on an adventure vacation in South America.
I think the only way to cheaply improve this team is to bail from this league of random + ex-salary cap teams. I haven't qualified for the playoffs in 4 tries since the end of the pure salary-cap league. I missed twice by 1 game, but this season fell to my worst ever 81-81 as well as setting a new record low for PP earnings. I won't delete the friends list because I plan to come back.

The 96. He has been really good for me.

I feel your pain, Zorro. I lost a WS after I had a 3-0 lead once. It was very... disturbing just does not seem like a strong enough word.

Yikes. I don't think I have had this happen to me yet.
This game can be so mean....almost like someone is sitting there pressing a button "no....you are not going to win today:".

I am not sure if they compare though. Zorro had a fully rested 100Pedro on the bench after going ahead and decided he would leave him out so he could start him in the next series against me.

I am still mad that I can't play him. I was so excited I even told the kids that I get to play Zorro in the finals for a championship.
They know his team pretty well after watching him win two championships in a row.

Not a lot of difference between the two. Just a bit difference in movement vs control.

I am really happy with some of the choices in PT20. Some nice additions overall.

Still not too happy about the increase in legend pitchers though. It will differentiate the $$$ vs $ players too much.

That was that "counting your chickens before they hatch" that my Pappy used to warn me about. If I could get a Perfect Pedro he would go out when it is his turn like I bet he does for Zorro in the future.

A weird series... I rarely go up 2-0 against a good team.

I really hope I can meet the Zorros in a finals another time.

Also, I was always hoping my Base Stealers could meet the Yaks again for a finals re-match but it never happened.
That 7 game series was a lot of fun and left a great memory in our family.

Hope to see you down the road in PT20 even though we may have very different teams.

The year of the "Zorro" has come to an end. I got extremely lucky this year.
See you all next week. Thank you again for all the fun.

On a separate note, Pedro's agent called all the teams in the league asking if there was a spot available in their rotation. He did not agree with his manager who was keeping him fresh for the new season.

Unfortunately, the kids lost their finals against Shoreline Lightning.

Congrats to you Joe! I surely wish the kids had won too. I look forward to meeting in the finals in OOTP 20 some day. I think we just might. The Xtreme is definitely a different team than the Yaks. My Yaks are solid on defense but the Xtreme in PT 20 are totally awesome when they run out on the field. But like this season when we won our second WS of '20 the Xtreme was 29th in HR. The Yaks with Babe are always near the top.
