Please stop spamming notifications when I open the app

I have already turned off notifications in the app on 3 separate occasions, and somehow magically the notifications get turned back on.

That does not make me very happy.

I can confirm this is happening on multiple devices, and after a fresh install.

Is anyone else seeing this?

And on the latest install I purposely chose not to allow notifications.

@OOTPDevs, please don't force notifications on us. I have never and will never play Perfect Team no matter how many times i see it advertised.

Are you referring to the banner that shows the login rewards? I assume you clicked on the don't show again today, so does that not work?
The do not show again button should be working, but if not I'll definitely look into that.

It's not considered a notification (it doesn't use the device notification system), it's more like in-game news like we have on desktop.

I did click don't show again today and also disabled notifications in the game settings.

I hope we're not expected to see that notification once a day and have to click "don't show again today" to see it only once a day.

Please give us the option to opt out of ALL news and notifications.

Why do I have to click it off every day? It makes me not want to use GO for anything, now, which may seem petty to you, but the unbelievable number of popups you have to click off just to play this game is maddening.

The "don't show again" is checked every time I open the game, but the screen still comes up. It is a bit annoying, and I hope this gets fixed so that it's permanently off if we don't want to see it.

Ok thanks for the feedback, we'll see what we can do.
In the next patch though we were already going to temporarily disable it for some maintenance

I had to disable notifications completely in the app settings.

Please don't become another company that just spams us constantly. I can assure you that in my case it makes me much LESS likely to participate in anything.

I'd prefer a roster update over some Perfect Team event ...
