Corrupted save file

Does anyone know how to get back your save once it says:
“The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version.”

Has now happened to me twice in saves I had put so many hours into.

Please fix this devs. It is game breaking. So much work just to lose it all in the snap of a finger.

Did you backup your phone to iCloud or something. I worry about this too, just hope if I back up my phone I’ll be alright.

Just checked and see the game doesn’t utilize iCloud from
What I see so far. Haven’t found a way to make sure it gets backed up.

It just happened to me. I played about 50 games as the 1901 Senators and just now got the same error on my IPad. Disappointing. Guess I won’t be playing franchise mode until there’s a way to backup my seasons. Just glad I didn’t have that much time invested in it.

We released a new patch today, which should have some fixes for these issues.
There may still be issues with games that were created before this patch and were not manually saved. However, it should be much better now for games created after the patch. If you experience the issue again, please post to the bugs report forum, and if possible, please include details about how the game gets saved, how you exit the game, and if you did different before the corruption occurred. Also please include what device you're on, thanks!

Is there any quick fix to this kind of problem ? Just happened to me yesterday about 40 games into a,season. I'll post to the other thread as well. Thanks.
