That SMU channel has a lot of '70s Rangers highlights. But here's a great one of the Indians-Rangers brawl in Arlington in '74. It was part of the backdrop of the 10 cent beer night fiasco in Cleveland the following week.

that is GREAT backstory to beer night!
Hot head len randle makes a perfect bunt at cle pitcher milt wilcox and then takes out wilcox like a pulling guard!!

dave duncan on the tribe is the guy trying to go into the stands!

There is more to the backstory with randle and wilcox but not sure what.

i recall as a young lad reading the sports pages what a hot head randle was.

no one ejected.....my how times change....
now you have to screening around the whole park because people are to busy on their phones to watch for foul balls

According to this article, Wilcox threw at Randle the pitch before the bunt because of a hard slide by Randle at Jack Brohamer at second earlier in the game. That brushback pitch led to Randle charging Wilcox.
