ASAP Help with revocable waivers after deadline

I can't continue my game until I have help removing a player from trade waivers. Thanks


I traded a player who was not trying hard and I got quite a deal. However, it was after the deadline and the player did not clear waivers. The game says I must take him off waivers or I will lose him. I don't want him anymore but I'm fine stashing him on my AAA affiliate so I can trade him in the offseason.


My question, how the heck do I take him off waivers? I see no option anywhere. I've tried the WAIVERS AND DFA screen, the actions>>>transactions tab but it only gives me the options to WAIVE, DFA, and WAIVE & DFA the player.


Were they automatically removed? I don't want to sim past this and lose the guy through no fault in my own. I know I have every right to remove him from waivers before I continue, but I just don't see the option.

From the transactions screen, if you drag the player from the waivers dropdown section to the bottom part of the screen (where the text information about DFA and everything is), the game will ask you if you want to remove the player from waivers.
