Sim Multiple Seasons at a Time

So I have just created a fictional league, and looking to sim for a few years at a time. Currently the only way I am aware to do so is pick the date I want to sim to; but it still stops for a longer period when selecting All-Star teams and other times. Is there another faster way to sim through full years? Thanks in advance for any help.

You should be able to bypass any stoppage by going into Manager Settings and turning on Do Not Disturb. The only time there would be any “stoppage” would be the default auto-save on January 1st.

Make sure you have the annual predictions turned off. Also turn off anything else you do not need like baseball cards, wpa graphs, game logs, etc..

Yes, baseball cards are the big one at the all-star break. Really slows things down creating cards for the entire all-star teams.

As others have mentioned, turn off baseball cards and almanac (if you don't care about those things), as those are huge time-sucks, as is generation of fictional pictures.

Also, in the settings under File > Settings, go to the Interface tab and change the Auto-Play Display setting to "Simple dialog." This prevents the game from showing the leaderboards and having to constantly update it while you sim.

By the way, the mechanism you are using to sim into the future is the correct one. Just pick a date and sim.

Thanks for all the help guys! Turned off the cards and tweaked a few other settings and got it to run much faster.
