Importing to 18 to 19

Hey~
I've downloaded the demo for both 18 and 19 (upgrading/importing from 17). 18 went fine with no issues, but when running the 19 demo the "Import from OOTP18" link doesn't show up. I've done some searching, but have not come across with anyone stating that the import option was missing.

Any help would be appreciated, trying to get my ducks in a row for XX

i uninstalled it so i can't load it up to compare, but i definitely started the process in '19.

so, try clicking load game and see options that arise? any check boxes etc... or in settings? expert? i thought it was a visible button, but it's close to a year now since i tried. (took too long, i canceled it at ~12gb temp file size, lol)

devil's advocate, no need to respond... you likely already tried this anyway.

There is in fact an import button in OOTP 19 full game. There are more options under the "New Quickstart" menu item in the above pic

Thanks for the tip. I did check there, but no such luck on finding the import tool.
But this is indeed just the demo for 19.

try load previous game - it may have an option to import there. not at the game to check ... good luck.

Is it sad that I just don't want to loose these guys?? It's not a deal breaker or anything, I've already pre ordered (to get the gold pack...Right?!?!) But I really do enjoy my league, they are all like my kids, grand kids, great...etc.

Don't give up yet!

Send Andreas Raht (OOTP Administrator) an email or a private message and see if he can get you some help.

Surely something can be done.

If worse comes to worse, you might think about buying OOTP19... you would be able to import the league then.

I recently converted my long-running league from OOTP12 to 13, 14, 15, 16,17,18 and finally 19... I had bought all of them, but didn't save some of them...had to use demos... but they worked.

ootp 19 can be bought for around $10 from steam resellers.

Other versions going back to ootp14 can usually be had for $1

or maybe once you get 20 ask someone to convert it to 19 for you? rar the file upload to google. make a backup of course or 3 of em lol
