This seems like it happens all the time to me as well.

With only 1 DP and 1 CS. Sounds like somebody else has my team's inability to deliver the clutch hit. With 4 guys hitting at least .300 in your lineup you'd like to think you wouldn't have that problem.

he's my 5th outfielder giving my starting CF a rest, a right-hander came in and I figured I had gotten all I was going to out of him & Redmond was the best hitter available (and also the usual starting catcher, who was taking a mental health day).

but I obviously was hitting all the wrong buttons that game.
