Yeah at first it reminded me of some unrealistic console baseball simulation but everything else seems to be pretty realistic as far as I can tell. Not that I strive for statistical accuracy exactly considering the crazy makeup of my baseball universe and the free spirited implementation of different things into my leagues. This guy just seems to be some sort of anomaly.
There were a couple instances of other players hitting 50+ homers but looking at some stats from the late 20's and 30's that doesnt appear to be too far fetched.It seems most of the sluggers are foreign so it has to be related to the creation of the Caribbean League.
Regardless I am having a lot of fun with the Hamburger era
btw... He led Michigan to a championship over his former team Philly and won MVP for the 10th straight year despite playing half a season due to the late signing and two late season oblique injuries.
The next year he got his big money signing back with Philly for 1 year/ $5600. No hard feelings I guess.
