Creating a tendency for Risky Play
I have a question...
Basing it off these explanations from this post: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ttributes.html How would I make a otherwise talented player have a tendency to play "risky" That is taking chances? Aggression? Doesn't seem to be the case, this is more penalty related. Consistency? I don't think so much? Teamplayer? Maybe has an influence in the matter, but let's say that this "risky" player is still good at playing a team game without the puck ... it is with the puck he is risky Pass/Shoot tendency? One could think that the player who is risky, may be a hog, but this doesn't necessarily go into the risk taking in mind Offensive Read? I think this could be it, but the linked post mentions when taking shots..... When I think risky, I think mostly .. risky passing perhaps (or as well) ... so if this rating is strictly shot related, I don't think it has the exact influence I have in mind I suppose all of them could go in to it, but then we are left with a poor player if we give the player low ratings on the ratings mentioned above..... And this is not the interest (to make a poor player), but just to make a risky player... any suggestions? thoughts? ideas? assistance? Thanks! *Maybe I should propose a new rating : "Player Control" .. A sort of play-by-play consistency rating instead of a game-by-game consistency Last edited by NolaSola7; 01-04-2015 at 09:28 AM. |

Offensive Read, Puckhandling, and Teamplayer (roughly in that order) would be the best places to reflect a tendency to take risks - lower numbers there would mean the player makes more bad decisions offensively.
