Hey guys, I'll try to update OU for 19 this weekend. Had to find a place to do development but finally got one I think. Bear with me, it's been a long while since I've delved into the code.

I have '19 working in OU. Just need to find time to package it up and host it somewhere. Hopefully tonight but likely tomorrow night. Been real busy.

OK guys, posted the OOTP 19 version, see the first post. I'm sure there's some stuff I missed, as the CSV's really got changed on me. Just let me know.

OK, I've got a weird issue that's driving me crazy.

When I do the CSV export the ratings are all zeroes in the csv files. Any idea why that's happening? I've never seen it before and I suppose it's probably a setting somewhere but I can't find it.

I know this isn't an OOTPOU issue - but trying to use OOTPOU is why I'm outputting the csv files so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

In the configuration for the Export to CSV in OOTP, there is an option to use Scouted Ratings, Actual Ratings or OSA Ratings or no ratings (or something like that). You want the Actual one.

Two issues.
1) The url.pl isn't working anymore
2) All-Star Ballots generate blank now.

We updated from OOTP 18 to OOTP 20 and our beloved and trusty 'ole OOTPOU development tracker isn't working either. Waiting to hear back from Getch on this too. I'm sure he will be on it in time. Thanks Getch.

Also hoping to use OOTPOU with 20

I'm new to the online league world. I'm trying to host an inaugural draft for my OOTP20 league and, searching around, it seems like OOTPOU is the best way to do that. However, it looks like there hasn't yet been an update to support 20. Is that true? It looks like 20 may have changed the CSV exports.

Is there any other way to do an inaugural draft for an online league?

Thanks!

I reinstalled OOTPOU (we are using OOTP20) last weekend and I was only able to import the draft order. It’s showing up 100% accurate but no players are showing up in the draft. I’ve had this problem as well with OOTP17 a few years ago and haven’t used OOTPOU since then thinking it was my league file was no longer compatible. (Converted from OOTP14 to 17 and now to 20).

I know this thread is pretty much “done” since no one can figure it out but I would love any hints or manipulation that I need to do with my files to make this work.

Thanks in advance!

Follow the readme (included in original post) and you should not have any issues.
The creation of the year and league folders does trip some up?

Thanks for your reply. I got up this morning and did a fresh install (erased all the OOTPOU folders and files.)

I did the default install, and I am stuck on draft (can't generate it) and still unable to see any players. I checked csv configuration to match what was recommended on the server and everything is in order (IMO).

Does it matter if I am using the GamboSpritzeOOTP14v2 database for my league and not the default OOTP one?

Cannot answer the last question.

One of the leagues I am in uses OU (with v20) without issue. Not knowing your setup, it's hard to troubleshoot. I just know that, in past, creating the year and then subfolder for your "league number" has been what tripped me up (given you only dor the draft once a season, it's not a constant concern)..
I happen to use FileZilla to transfer and it's easy, provided you put it in the right place. Then drop your CSV of players there.
After that, anything required is on the draft ADMIN page of OU.

Good Luck!

Not sure if the actual developer still checks this thread, but might?!?

I'm still alive and lurking. I still play in an online league.

Looks like I need to update the utils for the draft; the list of eligible players is wrong as OOTP 21 looks like it no longer uses the draft_eligible flag. I got it working in my league, so i'll try to whip something up for you all.

Anything else as I crack open this old rusty box?

FYI we use the draft_eligible flag for game-created players, but not for players in feeder leagues. We also don't use it for inaugural drafts (that logic has simplified to essentially FA not picked in the draft already, done to prevent the game-created rookies from being in the inaugural draft).

*unfortunately will have to wait for the next patch, but we'll add a few fields to the player export:
hsc_status - HS/CO status (ie. HS junior/senior/etc...)
picked_in_draft - notes players already picked
school/commit_school - id for their school

The first 2 I would expect should help utilities. Please feel free to PM me anytime if there's other fields that would help

How long should it take for me to start seeing development reports? I started 2 sims ago (7 days per sim) so we now have 3 weeks worth of reports, uploaded the CSV and hit Generate Report on the Dev Admin tab each time but there is still no development information.

Using OOTP 20 though so it's possible that is the issue.

Any help would be appreciated. Looking forward to using this amazing tool.

Using this still in our league (21, but through 20 as well).

Process, in brief (how I do it):
1) Create CSV dump in the game
2) Select the files required to transfer to OU (actually have a small batch file to quickly do that
3) Use FileZilla to transfer those files to proper path on server
4) In OU itself, start in LAST SIM and go to ADMIN tab and hit GENERATE REPORT (you will note the dates/times synch under Info on the right
5) Next to DEV and ADMIN tab there
6) Generate Report will quickly synch the dates/time again under the info section on that page
7) Generate Links should finish the job

This is helpful (if you haven't visited it - from original post):
