How to get a team out of a batting slump?

What's a sure fire way to immediately get your team out of a batting slump?

I've heard there's a way to do this?
Any OOTP veterans have a tip or trick?

Just be patient,,remember its a probability thing and they will eventually hit. There are no human head cases in the game.

why i'm so insistent is that this is a trivia question for a 500k reward for the winning GM's franchise if he can answer that question.

I think the only two ways to affect a teams hitting is in manager mode with the manager can affect hitting a little or a little more or with the hitting coach. What else is there? There is no training mode in the game.

true, and our league doesn't use coaches.

the only other thing i can think of (besides getting better hitters) is adjusting the settings of preferences in offense?

I find that my batters hit way better when I wear my lucky green socks.

I can confirm this. My batters all hit like Babe Ruth on steroids when treedom wears his green socks.

You could skip batting practice. You might laugh, but it worked for Buddy Bell's Royals who scored 10 or more runs in the last 3 games after that...

actually I think it had more to do with facing the cleveland indians pitching at the right time... : )

Change the team name to something other than "Chicago Cubs."

Have you tried batters in different spots in the linup to see if their skills work better in a different batting order?

I had a coach once who was extreme superstitious. One day, we didn't have time to do an infield before the 1st inning, so we just went out and played. We had been in a slump, but managed to win that one. From that day forward, we stopped fielding any grounders before game time. After a couple weeks, no more wins, and several fielding errors, he gave it up.
