The only thing Markus has said is, "we're still shooting for a pre opening day release." No date has been given.

2018 was a wild year for the world, but for us it was an extraordinary year. OOTP 19 was a huge success and Perfect Team (which admittedly was a little late to the party) exceeded our wildest dreams. So thank you all for your support. Without our community we would not be in the position we are now.

2019 will be another milestone, as we will be releasing OOTP 20 on March 21. Can you believe it? Version 20. Unbelievable.

So, see you in 2019! Until then, have fun with OOTP & Perfect Team over the Holidays!

Cheers,
Markus
This is back when the date was mentioned. A dream of Spring...

This year we will handle it a bit differently, we will announce the game around the start of Spring Training games and hence will have a much shorter pre-order period (eSellerate only). We are still shooting for a pre-Opening Day release on all channels (Steam, Origin, eSellerate, MacOS AppStore).

So, expect the official announcement about our 20th(!) Anniversary Release in 4-5 weeks.

I still can't believe we've been around for 20 years now...

Cheers,
Markus

I'll enjoy the countdown with everyone, but I've promised myself I won't download or play until my graduate courses are finished in May. I haven't played since the semester started and although I'm jonesing, I'll get through. Now back to Gender Deconstruction: Disembodied, Dismembered, and Disappearing Women in Frankenstein

If you are talking about those of us who do the pre-orders as that's traditionally been 3 days prior to full release. However there might be something different going on for pre-orders ??? It be interesting as it seems they changing things this year.

I'm not talking about pre orders - see post #8 in this thread where I directly quote Markus most recent word on the subject.

Yup, that's from Dec. I'm going by what he said in Jan.

Choice is yours.

I'm a Yankees fan but I really think the Blue Jays should have retired his number. He was flat-out filthy.

Yep they should've. They seem to have this dumb policy of only retiring the numbers of those who are in the HoF. They did retire Halladay's before he went in this year, but those were extraordinary circumstances. Halladay's not even in as a Blue Jay (which is a story for another day, and is due to the exact same extraordinary circumstances).

Video evidence of the ridiculousness of Dave Stieb's slider. Music in the background should've been "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer. Warning: Please, please, please...Turn down your audio before playing this. I don't want to be responsible for deafening you.
