Beautiful. Thank you. I believe this completes all the teams from the IL. And it's true that you can walk around this park. I've been there a few times and a couple of times I never sat in my ticket seat. Just walked eating and drinking all while watching the game not missing a thing that was going on. Thanks, again for this one.

Please don't let me stop you from doing more, though. Your work is really scary good. And very much appreciated.

Almost, there's still Syracuse and Toledo to go.

Excellent work as usual !!!!

If you have the time and the desire to do so, could you also make one single A stadium that ML teams use for spring training of your choice that you like please ? Your stadium could replace the generic spring ballpark the game uses for spring training games, which would look so much better.
Thanks for all the IL stadiums you have already created that makes the game more enjoyable !!!

NBT Bank Stadium, home of the Syracuse Mets

Opened in 1997, the park (which has been known as P&C Stadium and Alliance Bank Stadium over the years) originally had an AstroTurf field as the Syracuse Chiefs were affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays through the 2008 season. The current grass field was installed after 2007.

I think this is the only IL park I've done that doesn't have any grass seating in the outfield, although there is at least a party deck in right.

eriqjaffe,

Excellent work, thank you !!
Question: i normally adjust the views in your stadiums to make it like you are sitting in the stands behind home plate. With PNC field, when i try to adjust the default wide view to do that, the control to lower the view just makes it go higher over the field. I cannot lower the view and then zoom in as i normally do.
It works fine on all the other stadiums, it is just PNC. Is there something with the way you had to make that stadium causing that to happen ?
thanks

Yeah, I ran into that when I was navigating around to set the 3D grid. I have no idea why it happened to that park or how to fix it, though.

do you plan on making more fictional parks at some point? Yours are the best I have ever seen and are huge for my fictional save.

I can't believe it. All these stadiums look like they've been done in either Blender or 3D Max. Astounding.

Hey, Eriqjaffe
Have you thought about taking a stab at the new stadium they are building in Worcester for the Paw Sox? I can scour the internet for pics if you want.

I know nielsoncp did a nice one. I'm curious as to what yours would look like.

Fifth Third Field, home of the Toledo Mud Hens

Opened in 2002, Fifth Third Field replaced Ned Skeldon Stadium, located in suburban Maumee, which had been the home of the Mud Hens since 1965.

In 2007, ESPN named the raised seating area in right field, known as "The Roost", as the best seats to see a game in minor league baseball.

Credit where credit is due - the buildings in the left and right field corners were taken in part from jcoreysharp's existing Fifth Third Field model which you can download here. The buildings across the street in right field were also taken from this model also by jcoresharp. The Seagate Centre which extends from left to center field was originally modeled by the 3D Warehouse Staff and can be downloaded here.

I'm pretty sure this means that there are now 3D models for the entire International League. Whew!

Thank you so much for all of these and to anybody else involved. I'm running out of adjectives for these remarkable works of art.

nice

Wow...awesome work! Someone needs to show the Oakland A's this park...(for when they move to Vegas!). I love the concept of it being shaped to the Vegas sign. That would be an awesome park in real life.
I have a request..Bowman Field in Williamsport, PA. I grew up down the road from there and thought it'd be cool to see one of the oldest stadiums done.

Omnibus Park

I guess it says something when I find myself literally dreaming about ballparks, huh? I woke up and did a super-quick sketch, and while this finished park bears little resemblance to that, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Omnibus Park (the name of which was in the dream, I have no idea why but there you go) is a retractable roof stadium surrounded on three sides by a giant hotel and casino. There is a large swimming pool and outdoor combination casino & practice golf range beyond the center field wall, and a considerable number of the rooms provide a spectacular view of the field. While many of the rooms in the towers get cut off when the roof is closed, there are also a number of premium suites that provide views regardless of the weather outside.

This ballpark is located in Las Vegas, theoretically on the site currently occupied by the Rio. The outfield shape is based on Las Vegas's iconic welcome sign, and it leads to a park that gives up plenty of doubles and triples but is basically neutral aside from that.

I know I've been pretty quiet lately, life has been getting in the way lately (which isn't a bad thing).

But I have taken some of the tricks I've picked up and updated all of the USBL parks with full 3D fields! I think they look a lot better and more natural than the versions using the original 2D field images, and I think you'll agree. All of the links in the USBL thread should work for the updated fields.

Thanks for doing all that work - I'm sure it took a while to redo all those stadiums.

For those of us who want to learn your ways, what do you mean by 3d fields? Did you add in a pitchers mound, or did you do some deeper work with grass height, etc on other parts of the field?
