Single-season replay settings
I've never done a single-season replay in OOTP, but I'd like to give it a shot.
Those of you who have done single-season replays before, what settings do you recommend? Anything I absolutely, positively should change/alter before I start? |

Been a little while since i have done one, but to my knowledge I don't change much. I use 1-10 vs 1-100 or 2-8 scale. Some turn trading off since Babe Ruth could then get traded away. I don't use historical lineups or transactions, some do.

This will give you the closest to what actually happened in whatever seasons you replay... pretty much anything else and you could get some wildly varying results...

When you use the Historical League wizard, select "single-season replay." Then lower the "adjust batters" ABs from 300 to 150. Also, be sure to use as-played lineups and transactions. At least, that's what I do. After setting up the league using the wizard, I then go into the options and disable the personality ratings. (Since these are assigned at random, they seldom make sense for historical players.)
