16 Yr olds in Draft

When running the first years draft I noticed alot of 16 yr olds. I was just wondering if that was a setting I needed to adjust or if they were entered in that way?

I was starting with the New Standard Game First MLB Draft.

Well, let me check. There shouldn't really be any iirc. Some of the 2016 guys may have accidentally been set to 2014 though, that's possible.

Can you give me a name or two?

I will look when I am able to get back to that computer. When I sort during the draft it shows a list of around 20-30 16yr olds with 1-1 bdays I believe

First, this guy is 2010 years old?

Second, I have about 20 guys who are younger then 17, clearly too young to be drafted this year. Looks like a couple just slipped through the cracks with regards to which draft they are supposed to be in.

I believe what WIUPIKE is referring to is the pre-release roster set that had a few guys with default 1-1 birthdays. I'm not seeing anymore of those at the moment.

Yeah, Andriot was a typo by me when I tried to add his real dob. Already fixed.

Thanks for the screenshot, makes my life much easier. I'll get those guys in the right draft asap.

Yeah, Markus fixed those so they randomize on import now

I guess the downside is that guys with a real dob of 1-1 will randomize too, but you can't have everything

I also saw that I have like 5000 players available in the draft. Even though my setting is a Max of 32 rounds of players created.

That's cause of all the real guys. They override your settings for the first three years in the MLB quickstart.

The undrafted and unsigned guys will go back into future drafts. So you'll actually end up with 4-5 drafts with a good amount of real players in them.

I think so. I may not have gotten to all the 16 year old guys, not sure. If there are any there's only a couple and I'll sort them out asap.
