Request to edit Astrodome

I love the Astrodome 1.4 version. But the Gulf signs were changed to Texaco in 1970 before they were split up to Coca-Cola and Marlboro in 1976. Any way these Gulf signs could be changed to Texaco? I've attached the Texaco logo. Thanks for your consideration?

Wow. do you have good timing.

I just happen to be re-creating the 1965 Astrodome from scratch as I did not create the model currently out there.

I'll replace those Gulf signs with the Texaco

Thanks, you are the best! I love the new details to the outfield walls and the breeze ways at the top of the outfield stands. It's really looking more and more like the Dome I visited as a kid. Having this with the true dirt infield is great, too, because I'm currently playing the 1970 season and the Astros still had the dirt infield at that point.

Any chance I could get that with the Texaco and the true turf field with the sliding pits? Astros switched to sliding pits, circa 1972 or '73.

Thanks again for all of your hard work with this and other stadiums. I use these stadiums all the time.

You know, I’m trying to limit the amount of different stadiums I do with marginal changes. I was torn with how to do this astrodome though. Do you know the year that they switch to the sliding pits?

Based on some research from an Astros history DVD from a few years ago, my guess is 1973. It happened some time between the Astros' switch to orange caps in 1971 and the rainbow jerseys in ‘75. The Astros had a set of uniforms they wore from ‘72-74 and they still had the dirt infield in ‘72 based on some film I’ve seen.

Here’s a simple way to think of it: They never had the sliding pits with the Gulf scoreboard logos, which is something your previous 1.4 version of the Dome depicted. How about switching the version with the dirt infield to Gulf logos and put the Texaco logos in the version with the sliding pits?

And if you just want to say forget all that, I totally understand that, too. I only asked originally because I tried like hell to swap out logos and I couldn’t get it done. You have my utmost respect for the work you do with these.
