Catchers removed from my playoff roster

For the last two postseasons, both of my catchers have been mysteriously removed from my playoff roster and replaced w/ scrub relievers.

The first year this happened, I thought I could have just effed up and forgot to give myself a catcher for the playoffs. But I made extra sure to have not one, but two, catchers on my playoff roster this time. Unfortunately, once the playoffs started, both catchers were off the roster and my second baseman started the game at catcher.

Is there a setting I might have missed that allows the AI to alter my playoff roster? Or does this sound like a bug?

Is there any way I can get the game to allow playoff roster changes during a series to fix it?

I have never heard anything like this. Do you still have a backup of the league from before the playoffs? I'd need that to have a look.

I managed to make it to the next round with Gordon Beckham as my catcher. I put my catchers back on the playoff roster for the LCS and they stayed there.

I suppose I could've screwed up two years in a row in accidentally removing catchers from my playoff roster for the wild card round......when I make the playoffs again, I'll see what happens in the wild card round.
