Full screen and screen resolution
This is the first year I bought OOTP in a few years and I have a new laptop. When I tried to change it from full screen to windowed, it says that I can't because my screen resolution is not high enough and I must remain in full screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This happens when your system does not give the game the minimum size (700 pixel height), you probably have your Windows taskbar (dock on the Mac) fixed. Set it to auto-hide and the problem goes away

Right-click on the task bar -> properties -> in Windows 7 the option is one of 3 check boxes on the taskbar tab.
Not sure as far as Macs go as I'm not familiar with them and other versions of Windows have the option somewhere, probably the same general area, but I don't have them open in front of me so I'm not totally sure.

I auto-hid the task bar the it's still full screen. Won't let me close the game properly because the screen goes black(when I attempt to change the screen to windowed). As long as I can do other things on the computer ,it's no big deal.

Items on the bottom of the screen were cut off for me, so I auto-hid the taskbar. Now I can see those items on the bottom of the screen, but the gameplay display is messed up.
I used to have pitch sequence and team information on the right side. After I auto-hid the taskbar, those two items disappeared and I had nothing on the right side of my screen. When I manually added both items back in, they would not align or display properly. Any ideas? |
