League Nation issues for multinational leagues?
I've posted in another thread in the general discussion, but looking again at my files I think it may be user error on my side.
I'm setting up a 64 team European league in 1992, parallel to the MLB. The teams are all over the nations of Europe, so I picked "Luxembourg" as "League Nation", thinking it would have not much influence on things, and it would kind of make sense to have the seat of a strong European basbeall association in a relatvely neutral country like LUX. Anyways. I started my league, and all was fine - team owners were from all over the place (U.S., Mexico, Taiwan, and European countries). When the draft pool was announced I realized that I had accidentally marked "import historical rookies" not only for MLB, but also for my European league. So I went back into the start up screen, loaded my template, made the change (unticked the box for the European league), saved the template, and started a new game. However, now all owners, and almost all managers in my game are from Luxembourg, my league nation. Even if I use the previous (faulty) template, I get the same result. What gives? As said, during my first attempt, the owners/managers were from all over, which was fine - so I'm guessing I must have accidentally messed smething up?
