World Cup of Baseball

The World cup of Baseball is one of the league choices but if I select it the game still asks me to select a league. What is the World Cup of Baseball option for?

It's the World Baseball Classic, I don't think they could use the actual name in the game.

Are you trying to pick a team to manage? This is only played every 4 years, so the next one isn't til 2021, so if you are playing a new game, it will be 2020, so you will have to play through this season and when the WBC is getting scheduled in game, you may get an offer to manage/GM one of the WBC teams. IIRC, you cannot pick a team from the start.
