"Sorry, I just find it hard to believe my 1B would make a bad throw when he has experience in the OF. Not my mention my second basemen (who by the way hit a HR in six games in a row in the earlier rounds and has done nothing in the WS... but that's another story) has booted like three ground balls. Meanwhile the CPU team has played perfect defense."

3 of the Royals' wins came after trailing in the 8th inning or later. There is definitely a comeback code in there that needs to be fixed.

THIS GAME SUCKS!
The Mets were going to sweep the Royals if it wasn't for OOTP and their "Most Realistic Sim!" Good pitching is better than good hitting right? But nooooooo, not in OOTP! The Mets were up in 4 games through the 7th and somehow, the Royals managed to beat them in three of those. How would this happen IRL? I'm uninstalling this game. Then later, a mod would close the thread.

It's the stupid pitching endurance coding. In the 9th inning, Harvey flips from "OK" to "Tired", and boom, safe lead turns into tying run in scoring position. In real baseball, a starter does not suddenly blow up after pitching 8 shutout innings. He's obviously on top of his game and a CGSO the only conclusion, yet OOTP's lack of realism turns him just by exceeding a certain tiredness level into a AAA scrub.
I think this is from the whining after OOTP's 15 WS coding. I understand that using a starter on ultra short rest from the bullpen was unrealistic as hell and gaming the system, no real manager would use such unconvential moves and the pitcher would need instant Tommy John surgery. Yet this wasn't from the bullpen! Write proper SP code! Last edited by Number4; 11-02-2015 at 09:36 PM. |

Who's managing anyway?
And what kind of AI managing system would allow a starter with over 100 pitches start the ninth with a star closer ready in the bullpen? The AI is definitely broken. No way that bad move would occur in a real big-league game!

Theres no way Daniel Murphy could hit 6 HR in 6 games! Hes nit a power hitter and neverhas hit over 15 HR in a year and you expect me to believe that in RL he could hit 1/3 of that in 6 gms. This game sucks, im unlicensing and deleting as I type this

The Cubs are the best team in baseball! You mean to tell me they got swept by some shlubs from Queens? This is nonsense!

Why did Salvador Perez win the Most Good Looking Player on the field award? Noah Syndergaard obviously deserved it.

If game 5 happened in OOTP then the Royals would have run out of position players and had some non-outfielder playing center while Gordon and Cain were in left & right, in extra innings relief pitchers would be left in even once they are exhausted even though there are several rested relievers on the bench and pitchers would be hitting for themselves in extra innings because all of the position players were used.

This made me laugh out loud at work. Wish there was a way to edit the text in that dialog box.
It could say things like: <BLEEP> off. I'm staying in. What the <BLEEP> are you doing up here? I'm staying in. I get a $100,000 bonus if I finish this inning. Yeah, I'm fine. I wouldn't bull <bleep> you. Last edited by drksd4848; 11-09-2015 at 04:23 PM. |

We are missing the obvious glitch...
"This game has an anti-Canada glitch preventing the best pitcher in baseball since the trade deadline in David Price, to be completely unable to perform in the playoffs."

The Cardinals had the best record in baseball! How'd they get beat by some Shlubs that haven't won it all in over a century?

hey as a Mets fan...all I can say is that we lost to a team that was better than we were...look we had THREE blown saves, and too many errors...But..i have faith in my NY Mets that we will get back there soon...
GO METS and MARLINS!!!
