The Vixens are 4 games back, but they should be 5 games ahead by Pythagorean record. My Colonels are 29-17 in one-run games so it looks like a bit of luck on my side.

Both Ryan and NYY23 are way better than my team since the All-Star break. It's no wonder that the Vegas bookies have me going out in the first round.

Not to mention Bobble's .803 winning percentage since the AS Break, which is hard to compete against. After dropping 2 of 3 I feel destined to the Wild Card. Interesting that the Colonels and Vixens end the season with a three-game set. It wouldn't disappoint me at all if Ryan made things interesting and those games decided the division.

The AC West is shaping up to an exciting race to the finish. It's looking pretty likely we'll have four 100 win Wild Card teams.

This is insane. This has been my best season yet and am 6.5 games out.

Hoping that Orcin cools down a little bit and I can catch him in the last few games.

I hope I still have something left for the playoffs.

No pressure at all going up against the only team that didn't win 100 games in the playoffs.

Or is that how it works? Do you face off against the Wild Card winner?

Good luck in the playoffs today. Should be some good matchups. Don't think I've ever been in a league with this many good teams, so I've definitely enjoyed the challenge.

Sorry about that NYY #23. Looks like my Donnie Baseball beat you this time.

Surprise, surprise. Orcin and me in the playoffs. Who wins this time? I believe I won last year, so it's probably your turn.

I mean, 107 wins doesn't buy you what it used to.

Congratulations. Losing always sucks, but it does hurt a little bit more to get beat by Donnie Baseball. Good luck against Orcin!

2 extra inning games because my closers STILL CANNOT CLOSE GAMES but I'll take a 1-1 tie back to the little park in VA!

I am really struggling to put the JT Ivy away! I'm sitting on all 80+ starters and they've got, like, one 83 guy and they've taken me to extra innings in both of the first two games!

It's one thing to lose to another 113 win team, but it's another thing to be upset by a team that won 24 games less than you!

You should be fine with a 2-0 lead though.

He's making me feel bad about my managing skills!

I got swept! Damn. Although I thought I had a good team until I looked at the others in the league. Wow, there are some skilled rosters out there.

Oh well, took the 10k points I had sitting in my bank, bought a bunch of packs, and scored a Judge. Given how terrible my Harper card did, he should definitely be an upgrade. Although I really could use a big left handed 1B - I think I'll still blame my loss on whoever sniped Gehrig from me in the auction. It's been a tailspin since then.

Does an upgrade matter with the reset this week though?

Congrats to Lukas on a 13 inning walk-off win to capture the series. Two more game 5's today. Pretty fun to watch.

For once, my season did not end with a loss to Ryan. Congrats to the Vixens on a great year and being such a tough opponent for the past three weeks. While I really enjoyed the rivalry, I sort of hope we end up in different leagues after the reset.

P.S. I am 0-6 against Bobble this year. That doesn't bode well...

You shouldn't be too afraid. I barely squeaked by the Ivy and had to burn Randy Johnson to do it.

Lukas, this series is bonkers...

My manager just made Diaz pitch 3 full innings (39 pitches) after blowing the save in the bottom of the 9th by allowing you to tie it up, and somehow he gets the win (and... also a save, maybe? How does that rule work in this situation?) after I score in the top of the 11th and he closes out the game.

Then Diaz closes out the next game, throwing 11 pitches.

I guess it was the right call in hindsight, but that was an extremely bold managerial strategy, and not at all in line with my quick hooks on all pitchers... ☉.☉

You can't get both a win and a save. The pitcher of record gets the win. If he also finishes the game, there is no save.
