The Chicago Cub have distance themselves from Cincinnati, as they go 18-12 in May. Former 1st Place, New York Giants fell hard all they way down to 5th Place. The Cincinnati
Reds are not far behind the Cubs. Over in the American League, the Philadelphia Athletics went wild during May with a best 22-8, with an 6 and 8 game winning streaks mixed in,
to sit atop a mere .5 game ahead of Washington.

the Cubs are sitting 3.5 games ahead of Cincinnati. Senators ace Dazzy Vance fires a No Hitter against the Chicago White Sox.

The Washington Senators retook the lead in the American League, thanks to Pitcher of the Month, Dazzy Vance (6-2, 1.65 era). The Chicago Cubs are still leading the National
League, 3 game lead over the Reds. Both bottom place dwellers, the Browns and Pirates, endured multiple game losing streaks. Browns lost 12 in a row and the Pirates have
now lost 11.

Series contender, the streaking Reds, made up some room and are around 6 back. The Pittsburgh Pirates are the hot team in the second half of the season, 14-3 so far
