July 1st 1914 Update
The Pittsburgh Pirates continue to lead the National League, upping their lead to 9 games over Brooklyn. Over in the American League, the Washington Senators come from
the middle of the pack, come a calling past a lackluster Boston team and a sinking Detroit Tigers one. The Yankees are holding their own while Cleveland has righted their ship.

Record 40-29: 1st Place
Senators go 18-9 in June to vault into the top spot in the American League. Walter Johnson is once again named Pitcher of the Month with his 6-0, 2.02 era showing.

August 1st 1914 Update
The Pittsburgh Pirates have opened up the National League, the second place team, the Cardinals, are a distant 14.5 games behind. Not so over in the American League,
the Senators lead the Naps by a single game. And the rest of the pack is not far behind.

Eddie Collins and Walter Johnson both were named Batter and Pitcher of the Month. Despite the 3rd, 4th, and 5th best hitters, we are struggling to break out.

September 1st 1914 Update
The Pittsburgh Pirates saw their lead shrink to 11.5 games over St Louis. In the American League, Cleveland rode an 8 game winning streak to claim the top.

September 22nd 1914 Update
The Pittsburgh Pirates clinched the National League, for their third title in the past four years. Over in the American League,
the Cleveland Naps got red hot and are about to clinch their 9th title since the turn of the century.

Predicted Standings
Looking at the predictions it will look like the Chicago White Sox will the one to beat , and in the National League it looks like Pittsburgh

A new association was born, Pro Baseball Association. The American Association will play the Eastern League in a best of seven for the championship.

5 teams come out of the gate on fire. Still too early to guess but we have some nice races up and going now.

Over in the American Association, the Kansas City Blues are hot and lead by 3 games over the Toledo Mud Hens. SP Pat Reilly (5-0, 1.08) leads KC. Mike Fitzgerald (Jersey City)
is batting .407 in the Eastern League. Martin Farrell (Memphis) is another batting over .400 at .425, in the Southern Association. The New York State Leagues sees another .400
hitter in Guy Zinn (Syracuse) at .411. But the surprise is in the Western Canada League, William McCormick (Calgary) is batting a blistering .438.

June 1st 1915 Update
The Chicago White Sox surges atop the American League thanks to a 9-1 run. Over in the National League, there are 4 teams seesawing back and forth with the New York Giants
currently leading by a single game over the Cardinals. The Boston Braves are the unluckiest team as they were on the receiving end of a 17 game losing streak.

July 1st 1915 Update
The Chicago White Sox are turning up the pressure and lead Washington by 6 games. Chicago pulled off a 17-9 month of June. Over in the National League, the St Louis Cardinals
are fending off three other teams. Bill James (St Louis Browns) and Jim Shaw (Chicago White Sox) each threw no hitters during the month. Which one will stay in the hunt? Stay

Record 41-28: 2nd Place 6 GB
A lackluster month of June (14-13) and the White Sox 6 game winning streak in the middle of the month have the Senators trying to stay in the hunt.

Oscar Miller (St Paul Saints) from the American Association is tearing up the league with his 4.1 WAR rating but a dismal 6-11 record. Still in the same league we have Thomas Quailey
(Minneapolis Miners) and his league leading 15 wins. Ping Bodie (Buffalo Bison) has hit more home runs (8) in the Eastern League than he did in the majors in one season, and the season
is not even half way through.Over in the New York States League, Pat Folbre (Elmira Colonels) has already hit 18 HR.

Chicago pulls off another spectacular month with their 26-6 record, they now lead Washington by 13. St Louis continues to lead the National League, increasing to 7
games over the Pirates. Another No Hitter was tossed by a Chicago team, the Cub's Harry Colveleski pitched one on 24th.

September 1st 1915 Update
The Chicago White Sox have all but sewn up the American League, 19-8 in August alone. They are on track to win over 100 games. On the other side are the Philadelphia
Atheltics and Detroit Tigers and a 100 lose season might be in the cards. The last team to lose 100 games were the Chicago White Sox in 1907. Over in the National League,
the St Louis Cardinals are enjoying a sizable lead over the Pirates.

We are coming to the end of the 1915 Season with around 15 games to go. St Louis is trying to hold off a surging New York Giants team. Over in the American League the Chicago
White Sox have lost 7 straight and see their lead over St Louis shrinking.

the Boston Beaneaters. The Cardinals last appeared in 1913 and lost to the New York Yankees.

St Louis Cardinals sweep the Chicago White Sox to claim title. First National League team to win since the Cubs won in 1907. Cardinals are 2-2 in this century.
