CSV Files
Where the devil are exported CSV files saved?
All the manual says is "Create CSV Export will export a number of CSV files detailing various statistics and reports, that can then be loaded in a spreadsheet or other application for further viewing or editing." It obviously creates something when you click on the link, but I'll be darned if I can find them. I'm playing on an iMac. Thanks |

There'll be an "exports" folder created in that save that holds them (so go to the saved_games folder, then find the one with your save name that ends in .lg, and the exports folder will be in there.)

Thanks.
Do you have any idea where I might find this on an iMac running OS X 10.11.6? If I right click on the application in Finder and click "Show contents", I find a bunch of sub folders. If I expand the default data folder, I find a saved games folder, but the only thing in it is a readme.txt file. My two saved games are named Test and 1979, and if I search my iMac, I don't find either, but if I click the Load Game button, they are both there.... I don't know why Apple makes it such a PITA to find anything in the file structures... |

You can find it from within the game.by going to the start screen, then settings, then troubleshooting, then "open customizable data folder". That'll drop you into the game's main data folder, and you can see the saved_games folder from there. It sounds like you were looking at the game's installation folder.

Sorry, but I have another question.
I found the files, and opened the player_ratings.csv file, and it does't have any player names or team names, just player ID & team ID numbers: Player Id Team Id Franchise Id 0 -1 -1 1 12 12 2 -1 -1 How do I figure out who is who? |

Those are in separate csv's, the player id's are in player_bio.csv and the team id's are in team_data.csv.

Also, if i export the csv every year will it overwrite what is in the folder, or does it add to what is already in the folder? Also, why cant player names be in the file instead of player id? if player id can be in the file why can't you have it grab the player name instead for that? |
