Next game in 65,458 days or 179 years

Just started in 1974 as the Scouts & I'm in my first year at Dec 11 1974, but it list my next pre-season game as Sept 24 1974 which u can see I'm passed that.

Looks like the start date for 1974 is a week too late, and the game is beginning midway through the exhibition schedule, so when you start a game in that year you'll get those three phantom exhibition games for all teams. It won't actually affect anything, you'll just give the wrong "next game" data until the schedule resets at the beginning of the next season. I've checked a few other years and they don't seem to have the issue, so I'll try to figure out why this is happening in 74, but you're safe to continue with that save, it won't have any long-term effects.

Maybe that's when the Devils move back to KC.

I have the same issue.....took over NY Islanders in 1972.....it started me one game into the exhibition season....so it always lists that 1st game as next game in that screen. I played on and so far it remains and I ignore it.

Thanks for letting us know.

It should fix itself at the top of the next year.

Bite your tongue buddy!

I know the Devils had a Rocky start but they took their time, Scouted a primo location, and New Jersey in where they will stay!
