Nippon Baseball League Historical Mode

Hats off to Markus and company for adding the Negro League to OOTP18. This will be a very cool feature that will allow a lot of "what if scenarios". With this addition it got me thinking. What about a historical mode for the Nippon League? It would be very cool to see how some of the best Japanese players performed in MLB. For example, how many home runs would Sadaharu Oh hit?

Every Japanese player from the mid-1930's to 2015 is in the database. Hope to get Japan and Korea added to OOTP19 historicals.

That would be fantastic.
To beat the Giants with the Braves would be glorious.

Quick note: Since Oh has Taiwanese citizenship, shouldn't the flag be Taiwan's instead of mainland China's one?

Citizenship is not always Birthplace but Birthplace is not always correct. Place of birth counts which is why the O'Douls can be Irish instead of New Yorkian.

I get what you mean and I'm not trying to nitpick, but if we go by Oh's example, he was born in Tokyo.

Not that it's really important anyway, since it can be easily edited by the player.

This is in no way a promise, but I'm pretty sure this is fairly high on the list of our ideas for OOTP19

Is there anyway to take individual Japenese players from spritze db and add them to a league already running to be able to get league history and career records more accurate?

I usually "create free agent", change all the info to the real player, add their stats by hand and retire them to get correct all time leaderboards.
