I think that's the case for most Major Junior teams. I know a few teams in the OHL had deals with Jr.A clubs, where teams would call up players if they were on their protected list.

If we can get the CJHL rights in the game with the ability to send players back to those clubs that would be great.

There is nothing formalized in the WHL where players who are signed to a Junior deal but do not make the team are sent to an "affiliate team". Some WHL teams like their guys close to their city. But for many..they just go to a team in a lower league that they can make. Alberta players go to Alberta Junior, Midget AAA, Junior B teams...but there is nothing formal about which team they go to.

So in real life a WHL team does NOT assign players to a lower level team. BC...they go to a BCHL team, A Junior B team, a Major Midget team, a Midget A team or sometimes an academy.

Dmitrij Jaskin should have also Czech nationality. In fact this should be his primary one. Yes he was born in Omsk, Russia but he's lived in Czech Republic since his childhood and (the important thing) he represents Czech Republic on WJC.

Thanks! Fixed for next week's data update (not this week as it's too late).

Not for a while. It wouldn't be that difficult to integrate them into the game, but every step down from the lowest playable level (major junior right now) means a much bigger pool of players, and that comes at a big performance hit. And we also have to consider all the research and editing those leagues would require.

I know this is an old post Jeff but is it possible to explain the math to me on doing ratings for players one more time? I'm just a bit confused how it works.

Is last week's data update the last data update (included in 0.9.12)? Or has there been another since?

Oh, are OHL and QJMHL playable?

I'm really interested in the junior GM'ing for this game.

Let me know how the Q is as Simon and I are looking for some feedback.

Well, it doesn't appear to be playable yet. I can obviously not test with every team, but the one I've looked so far makes no sense whatsoever (Gatineau) and doesn't appear to have been updated at all.

This said, the OHL seems to work fine so far.

It'll have to wait another week as I did some work on the database today however it never saved. Will add it in for my next update.

That makes sense. Those players were probably drafted by the OHL team you picked.

Then where are my 16, 17, 18 year old Canadian kids that I drafted?
