i dislike the frilly stuff, but i don't think it should be removed from the game. same with adding a hr derby... i won't like it, but i think it shuold be part of the game - or at least rational and 'normal' to be. i couldn't pick an option of the choices for the poll. i do think more important things should be worked on first, but slipping it in isn't a problem either.

I love the frilly stuff. I love RPG elements.

Of course I'd like "the actual baseball" to be as accurate as possible. IMO, it's not an almanac it's a video game. People like me play it for its entertainment value not so much for how perfect every single freaking fart is.

Usually I just want to be carried away by a video game that tells a story rather than a spreadsheet that spits out stats.

I think that if the HR Derby is included, that it should include the entire All-Star extravaganza, I.E. the Futures Game as well. I'd love to annually see the top prospects not in MLB from the US go against the World.

As long as that moron Chris Berman is no where near it then yes! Sooo sick of him. I love the Home Run Derby but he has ruined it for me. Haven't watched in years JUST because of him. I don't like the new format either. I preferred the 10 outs format.
