How to install mods without steam?

Hey so I want to preorder the game to get it four days early, but I'm not sure how to install the mods and packs and stuff without steam workshop. Anyone help?

Most of the mod downloads include specific installation instructions, but in most cases it's just a matter of putting the files in the appropriate folder in \quickstart_games\OpeningDay.quick\graphics (for modern games) or \quickstart_games\Historical.quick\graphics (for historical). They can also be added to the equivalent folders in a saved game, if you want to install them into an existing game.
