How does this work again?

In Historical exhibition mode, how are the teams normalized if they played in different years, to level the playing field. Example a team from 1968 vs a team from 2018.

This is how Markus explained it when the feature was introduced:

What we do is calculate how the players acted / performed towards their specific league average, and based on that we normalize the ratings toward the selected era. So, a guy who hit 10% more HR than league average will hit maybe 5 HR in 1906, but 15 HR in 1987. Makes sense?
