Ty Cobb has been incapacitated!

I don't know quite when it happened, but in my Challenge mode game toward the end of the his age 29 season (or in Spring training the following year), Ty Cobb's outfield range dropped to 1. He is still a 5 star player, his hitting and other outfield stats are the same, just range changed. I checked the injury history and nothing there indicates anything.

This is my 4th try at an historic team in challenge mode, each time I encounter some odd bug or limitation that ruins the league for me. Last time I had too many players on my roster when I drafted Lou Gehrig, causing him to be lost to the game entirely.

I'm not up for another restart so I'm putting Cobb at 1st base and hoping for the best. Sadly, I had just traded a good young 4.5 star CF before this happened, having planned to keep Cobb at CF.

I had this happen to Joe Morgan in 19. He suddenly became a 2 (out of 10) out of 10 at everything in the field and all I could play him at was DH. Never figured out why it happened.
