notice this happens a lot in my first full play through.
Not so much the high scoring, but the shots.
I've had games where they'll end 6-3 but my shots are 36-44 and the other teams got 10-14 shots.

This has happen alot even in 1-2 goal differences.where the opponent I have may only get 10 shots on net in 3 periods

I've seen this quite a lot. In fact, I started a thread about it.

Note the penalty minutes for the Coyotes.

The Coyotes played at least half of the final period with 4 or less men.

I'm going to try some adjustments to player behaviour in response to one-sided games and shot totals - they should independently decide to shoot more if the team's not getting anything on net, and back off a little more in blowouts, but right now they're just sticking to the gameplan for the entire game regardless of circumstances, which isn't that realistic.

Unrelated to the question of lopsided shot totals, how does one get the current players on the ice displayed as in the OP's screen shot? I see in the post that a display like the one used in FHM3 is shown. But that does not come up when I play out games. Does it get displayed only when a team you are controlling plays? Why not provide that display for ALL games?

That's the Stats views, second button on the top-left of the in-game screen.

I was referring to the top part of the image that was posted, where the line-up for one team is shown and the players currently on the ice were shown just below that (in the format used for FHM3). When I view a game played by teams that are managed by the AI, the stats screen looks like what is below. It is a static view.

I also have suggested and think this would be nice to see. It would be nice if the game could actually be viewed from this screen, so you could see shots "real time", view stats, and see what players are on ice.

Oh, that view pops up during some highlights - I think you have to have Watch Mode on Full to see it.

I tried running a game with full highlights and still that display of players currently on the ice (in place of the display of the two goaltenders) did not appear. I vote for providing under all viewing modes an option to display players currently on the ice in place of the goaltenders.
