Historical Replay adding or subtracting games

I'm in the process of replaying the NHL from 1931 to 2014 and beyond, I have notice on a couple of season that the games as add or subtract games to the schedule.
Here's a couple of examples:

In the 1945-46 season the NHL played 50 games, I may replay it played 60 games. Name: 1945-46 Final Standings.png

In 1950-51 season NHL played 70 games but in my sim it only played 50 games. Name: 1950-51 Final Standings.png

Anybody else having this problem

I already reported the 50-51 issue in the bugs forum, I missed the 45-46 issue though... you should post it in the data issues thread.

Looks like one was wrong in the database, but the other must be a schedule file problem, I'll have to dig that out and see what's going on.

On the topic of schedules, if anybody happens to know where to find a copy of the original intended 1917-18 schedule (i.e., what would have been played if the Wanderers hadn't dropped out, not the altered schedule that was used after that), I'd love to see it. Otherwise we'll have to work out a fictional one for that year when we expand historical back that far, since we can't kill a team in mid-season.
