Historical Expansion, Importing Rookies year after expansion
Ok, I am about to simulate the 93 season, I already added the Marlins and Rockies. I have it set up to import rookies automatically to the teams that drafted them. My question is: For the 94 season, will the correct rookies be added to the Marlins and Rockies as happened in real life, or is there a setting that needs to be done?

I believe that they should important to the correct team as long as their historical ID is the same in your league setup as it is in the data base, so if in the DB it is FLA you should make sure it is the same under the "options and Ballpark" tab of the teams home page. And make sure you hit ENTER after changing it to save it.

But by the time you can go in and edit the league structure to add the additional teams, the historical rookie import has already taken place. Thus you're left with empty rosters for the expansion teams. I had this problem playing Tigerfan's 1901 historical quick start game when I get to the expansions of the early 60's. I'm not sure what the solution is.

I dont think there is, unless you make the team a year earlier. I noticed all the marlins players were FA when i made the team. Why i cant edit the league structure in like december is beyond me.

Yeah, perhaps in a future patch they can allow us to edit the league structure once the season is over rather than wait until February. Or they can move the import of historical players until the start of spring training.
