Recreation Park (Philly)

Here's a field layout from the Baseball-Fever forum. Four of the five roads are still in existence (https://goo.gl/maps/Hg938kNytq92). I added the cited outfield dimensions. Also, a 1884 team photo.

You can't have a discussion about the Providence Grays without a photo of Charlie "Old Hoss" Radbourn flipping the bird to the cameraman:

Also, kudos to Getty Images for slapping their watermark on a public-domain photograph.

Lloyd Street Grounds

The St. Louis Browns were founded as the Milwaukee Brewers and a charter member of the American League. They played one season, 1901, at the Lloyd Street Grounds (Milwaukee) before relocating to St. Louis in 1902.

Good luck finding dimensions or photos of those 19th century parks! They were all wooden and burnt down so I doubt there's not too many pics of thems.

It annoys the living hell out of me that all these sites including Getty slap their stupid watermarks on them and then try to charge you for them when they are public domain! I love the Baseball-Birthdays guy...he colors them then slaps the watermark on them and tries to sell them!
