The North American Baseball Challenge (NABC) is a fictional OOTP 14 league that features 16 teams (8 from the United States Baseball League and 8 from the Canadian Baseball League). Each league is broken down into 2 divisions (an Eastern and Western Region). This league uses the association feature of OOTP, meaning that the USBL and CBL are two separate leagues and the champions of each league will play in a best of 7 series to determine the North American Champion. Amateur and inaugural drafts will both be separately ran amongst the two leagues. The idea of this league came about due to the large nature of PEDs that were prevelant in Major League Baseball. A federal government oversight committee in early 2013 met and findings were released to the President. The executive order that came following this study would forever shape professional baseball in North America. The North American Baseball Challenge features a number of changes from the previous Major League Baseball. The newly found NABC features a full salary cap of $75,000,000 with swift penalties of those teams going over the cap. The lack of salary arbitration was very popular amongst owners, however the players union was able to negotiate a quicker path to free agency (3 years service time). Other rules such as player trades amongst the USBL and CBL have also been initiated; along with free agents being allowed to migrate the border. With financials being equal, parity should be at the forefront of the NABC.


In summary, the NABC will provide an exciting brand of baseball in North America. With the reconstruction of 16 brand new ball parks already underway, the steroid era has been completely wiped clean. New General Managers will have complete control of the dimensions of their new stadiums; however naming rights have already been assigned. The 100 game season will begin play in the very near future.

The Montreal North Stars began the season 5-2 and currently have a very nice team to choose from. The previous own unfortunately had to drop due to time constraints. Montreal's top pitcher is the Canadian Baseball League's #2 overall pitcher, Laurent Garnier. Montreal is a bit of an older team but they are set up to win right now.
