Morten "Specs" Clark

Morten Clark played mostly shortstop in a Negro Leagues career that spanned the years 1908 through 1923. The photo on the left shows him with the Indianapolis ABC's and is from Phil Dixon's THE NEGRO BASEBALL LEAGUES: A PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORY. The photo on the right demostrates more clearly why he had the nickname "Specs." That second photo comes from the Seamheads.com website.

Walter "Steel Arm" Davis

Elvis William "Bill" Holland was a pitcher who was in the Negro Leagues from 1919 through 1941. In the photo on the left, he is shown with the New York Lincoln Giants. Billy Holland

William "Billy" Holland spent most of his time in the Negro Leagues as a pitcher, but also played OF and 3B. His period was 1895 to 1908. The photo is from the Seamheads.com website.
