Question about the forums in general

Sometimes, when I come to the forums, I get pages opening up like this. When I click them, they revert to the normal forum look. See example pix.

Mac user on Safari.

Any suggestions? Anyone else having this happen?

I haven’t had it happen, but it looks like Safari’s reader mode maybe?

I figured it out.
Go to Safari at the top of the screen.
Scroll down to "Settings for this Website"
UNCHECK "Use reader when Available".

This should solve your problem.

That must have been it. Hasn't happened since. Odd part was that it happened nowhere else, not even on my pal's run-on-a-shoestring political blog.

It's served me well for many years. I can at least take comfort that my OS isn't a living, breathing virus. Is Safari great? No...but if it ain't broke...

If it meets your needs as an individual user then the software is likely worth it. Whether it's Safari, Edge, Firefox, or Vivaldi all have their use cases. That said, reader mode is quite useful at times especially on my mobile device. Glad you found your solution to your problem.

Pirates Major Leagues Join Date: Mar 2014 Posts: 371	I figured it out. Go to Safari at the top of the screen. Scroll down to "Settings for this Website" UNCHECK "Use reader when Available". This should solve your problem.
