St. Paltry's Jon Chitwood has great day with five hits
ST. PALTRY - Jon Chitwood punished Fat City's pitching today, collecting five hits in 5 AB. That definitely helped St. Paltry, they won the game 12 to 5. In the 1st inning he belted a RBI double off Andres Maurice. In the 4th inning he belted a two-run double off Andres Maurice. A pitch from Juan Garcia in the 6th inning left his bat for a RBI double. His 5th hit, a three-run homerun off Thomas Soo in the 8th inning, landed an estimated 452 feet from home plate. He collected a single in the 2nd. Jon did drive in 7 while scoring one run on his own. He's having a very good season so far, batting .314. Second sentence should read: That definitely helped St. Paltry, as they won the game 12 to 5. The next to last sentence should read: Jon drove in 7 while scoring one run of his own. |

Jeremiad's Oliver Fleites slams five hits
DRACONIAN - Oliver Fleites hits 'em where they ain't. Draconian certainly agrees as Jeremiad's leftfielder unloaded five hits, adding to his reputation of being one of the best pure hitters in the game. [1] Hit number 2 followed in the 6th inning, a triple. A pitch from John Van Buren in the 8th inning left his bat for a solo homerun, landing 440 feet from home plate in center field. It tied the ballgame at 5. He collected singles in the 3rd[2] , in the 10th inning and in the 15th . Oliver did drive in one while scoring 2 runs on his own. He's having a very good season so far, batting .429. Jeremiad scored 10 runs on 15 hits. [1] What happened to hit number 1? [2] Should not be a space before the comma. |

Larimer and Paez receive Pitcher of the Month award
[1]The best month of April in the Pioneer League certainly had Jottentittle's right-hander David Larimer, earning him the Pitcher of the Month award. He went 4-1 in April and finished the month with an ERA of 2.03. [1] Should read: Jottentittle's right-hander David Larimer certainly had the best month of April in the Pioneer League, earning him the Pitcher of the Month award. |

Jeremiad's Pusey named Batter of the Month
[1] shortstop Benito Beltran had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the Pioneer League Batter of the Month. Benito pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .270 with [2]10 and 27 RBI while slugging .630. [1] Should be: Jeremiad's shortstop ... [2] Should be: 10 home runs and ... |

Dont know if this fits in this category, but its such a small issue I thought I put it here.
Whenever you order a pitchout, I should think the pitcher should automatically throw a fastball. Ive had a couple cases when the pitcher threw a knuckleball, not the ideal pitchout pitch.

For retired players, "ineligible" is spelled incorrectly as "inelegible" in the Show Financial/Roster Status area and in the player HTML report. Just noticed this as I was browsing through some of my Hall-of-Famers.

During a sacrifice bunt by Hammaker, with Stoddard pitching, Durham playing 1B, and Veryzer playing 2B, here's the PbP:

A pop-up in foul territory, yet the umpire calls for the infield fly rule.
I'm assuming this is simply a typo, and not a function of the game engine. Otherwise, if the infielder drops the ball then the batter would still be out instead of it counting as a foul.

When you have a player playing poorly in a level of the minors, you get an email that says "xxxxxx should not play at xxxxx level x any longer, he needs to be sent down to a lower level so he is not emberressed any longer."
Last I checked, it was spelled "embarrassed". |

This isn't really a typo, per se, but...
In the news stories about injuries, everywhere it says "x-rays", I would suggest replacing it with "x-rays and an MRI". You can't find a torn ligament or a concussion with an x-ray.

Just saw this one and it made me laugh...
I had a player strike out on a "nasty nickle curve." Should be a knuckle curve, though I didn't know a knuckle curve was a pitch in the game. |

When you move a player to the disabled list it says, "Select Disbled List". The "a" in disabled is missing.

If these have been covered, I apologize.
In this game log, it should say that he reached 1st base on a throwing error, not 2nd. It also says that the player named "Dutra" was thrown out at 2nd, yet he is still in the game and scores a run later.

And, well, here's another:
It also says at the end: "Good that I was wrong." Perhaps it should say: "Good thing that I was wrong."

Team Name Missing
6.11, XP Home w/all updates, 3.2 P4, 2 gigs ram, 200 gigs free drive
Rakestraw Wins Player of the Week Award (single space) pitcher Mark Rakestraw had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him American League Player of the Week. Rakestraw was overpowering all week long, going 2-0 with an ERA of 2.25. Along the way he struck out 2 in 12 innings. (etc. for the NL guy) Rakestraw plays for the Baltimore Orioles, the first team listed in the AL East in a 32-team custom league (5-6-5 x2) with all generated players. The players have all been edited to have a fielding % 100 pts lower than generated (except 1B which is 50 pts). Photos are turned off. Logos are all correct. All teams play in Old League Stadium.
