I downloaded the patch, dragged it into my applications folder. Nothing happened so I clicked on the icon and now I can' t open OOTP at all. What am I doing wrong and how can I get back to my game/settings?

I have an iMac running Mavericks. I had to go into Security & Privacy in System Preferences. Then unlock to allow OOTP to run. Then lock.

What version is currently available on the site? My Mac v14.6.33 is running extremely slow and laggy, and I understand that it's already been reported. Is it already remedied by a new version?

Just updated, and had issue where players for two years was on secondary roster, but disappeared from active roster for playoffs.

That's got nothing to do with the update. Being on the 40-man roster does not entitle you to be on the playoff roster, you need to be on the active roster (or DL) when roster expansion starts for that.

Ever since this update, I have been getting constant runtime errors. Any thoughts on how to deal with this?

Last Mac Update is still not ok. Doesn't crash much but it is super slow.

When you click on a player to load stats or anything it hesitates enough that you aren't sure your click registered. Not cool and I deem it un-playable.

Version 14.6.34 on a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB Ram Retina Display.

Not that it makes a big difference but just an anecdote.

I have player consistently since Season Ticket Baseball 2003. I bring my laptop with me everywhere. I play on breaks at work, and in bed at night during vacations in the Caribbean. OOTP has been my GO-TO game for more than a decade. I just went to my in-laws house for a couple of days at Christmas and for the first time in more than 10 years travelled without my laptop. That is because I no longer am playing baseball.

This newest "update" 14.6.33 has really crippled OOTP14 for me. The update has not been a positive experience. The Game plays so sloooooooooooooooooooooow. It's very frustrating, it's almost unplayable.

Is there any way to turn off the "crawl" at the bottom of the window with the scores? Not being a computer expert, I don't know what could possibly be wrong, but I believe that that "crawl" is part of the problem.

Is there are link to go back two updates to OOTP 14.3.12?

I have a iMac - OS 10.6.8 - 12GIG Ram - 1333Mhz Intel Core i3 Processor

I've been playing OOTP for years and never been disappointed until now.

I mean, I'm not trying to complain (though it sure sounds like it

), but it seems every update seems to make the game slower. I used to be able to click the "sim" checkmark and it would sim the day immediately, now it waits a little, sometimes stops responding for a little, and generally more slow. It's not game breaking, just a bit annoying.

I'm on PC by the way.

Yes, I've noticed the game is much slower, especially when compiling reports.

The development team might want to take a look at it.

I'm also using the PC version.

Maybe in the future the new patches can be released as beta patches and then made official after a while ONLY when there's no problem with them.

I'm running 14.3.12 for Windows and not running into any noticeable slow, draggy problems so far. Then again, I'm not sure what I'm missing from the updates that have happened since then. Not sure I care though, as long as things are running well.

I posted a month ago about how the new patch was giving me a blank screen every time a new player photo was generated during a game. I received advice to uninstall the game and reinstall the full version of the patch/game.

I just played my first game with the full install of the latest update and for most of the game everything was fine. However, I did get a black screen when the CPU brought in a reliever in the 8th inning. It's kind of annoying to still have to worry out this.

Question: Are there any plans to fix this latest version?

(I'm playing on a Samsung laptop)
