Hi,

I am new to this game.

I understand it hasnt got the license for teams, logos, players, etc...
but I dont like to play with fictionnal teams and players.

Is it possible to download somewhere a sort of "one-file-world-database" with real names, logos, rosters? It doesnt need to be up-to-date, but it should allow to play with the yankees, or in the cuban baseball league.

I can only see small parts to download (some stadiums here, some photos there).

There is no comprehensive roster set - there are MLB sets (look for MLB 3.1, somehwere here in the Mods forum), which will get you set up to at least play a basic MLB setup. It's imported from OOTP 6.5, but it has photos, logos & ballparks all ready to go.

Erich Ingram (Rolen) and Cubby Fan are putting together a native roster set, as well. It's not done yet (there's a sticky in the rosters sub-forum about it). I'm not sure if it's just going to be MLB or not.

The main sticking point with the non-MLB rosters is the lack of information available - in particular, the lack of information in English. So it might be a while before you can just load up a fully accurate pre-made "whole world" scenario.

if I play a real MLB league imported from ootb6.5 in addition with some fictional foreign leagues.....will all those league interact with each other? (transfers, friendly games...)

I think you can manually schedule exhibition game ("friendlies") between leagues, but I'm not 100% sure.

There can be player movement between the leagues if you want there to be. It's a togglable option.

Yes, you can in the schedule editor. Change game type to "exhibition" and you can schedule a game between two teams that are not in the same league.
